Hi, my name is Darren Lloyd and I create jazz etudes and other resources to help beginner/intermediate students develop their jazz vocabulary.

I have played with many of the UK's finest musicians and top ensembles and orchestras.
I am a fully qualified teacher holding a PGCE and a Master of Arts in music performance.
I have served in the Royal Marines Band Service for around 7 years, worked on cruise ships, in West end theatre pits, Musical theatre UK tours, Big band, Jazz bands, Latin bands, Blues bands and Orchestras.
I am currently very busy creating weekly jazz improvisation lessons for my patrons on Patreon where I also create weekly progressive jazz  etudes!
