Basin street blues - Easy jazz trumpet solo!
Welcome to this blog post where, in the video, I am playing the melody (as you might at a jam session or your own performance) to basin street blues, followed by an easy, written out solo (etude).
The solo is quite easy with a limited playing range of one octave, no semi quaver (16th notes) passages, no high notes or sustained passages.
Perfect for early intermediate players interested in playing some jazz pieces!
I have tried to make the music in the video big enough for you to play along with the music if you wish.
The solo comes from this book (also available in C, Eb & bass clef.
