For those of you that have played my etudes before, will know that I love to base all my lines and phrases off of the chord tones, primarily on beats 1 & 3!

The etude here uses a mixture of approach notes, enclosures, chromatic enclosures, and simply using the chord notes with syncopated rhythms. For a more in depth look at creating your own jazz lines in a systematic way, check out these blog posts too!
